How to Join the ASRL

Thank you for your interest in the American Sim Racing League. On behalf of all of the ASRL drivers, Welcome Aboard! The ASRL uses the iracing software and offers a variety of different mod’s to suit your interests.

As with any sport, there are rules to govern. The ASRL is no different. Please read the ASRL rules to familiarize yourself with our league rules. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any of the ASRL drivers. We are all here to help.

Every new member of the ASRL’s first goal is to get the respect of all the drivers within the ASRL. By doing this, you must show patience, give and take, and respect to the other drivers on the track.

On the top left of this page, you will find a link to our forums. Please register with the ASRL forums, you must use your full real name (Example: John Doe), do not use initials or a weird username. The forums are an excellent source of information. Familiarize yourself with them and start using them. Everyone in the ASRL is here to help with any question you may have, so do not be afraid to throw out a question on the boards. As soon as you can, post in the New Member Introductions thread and give everyone a little information about yourself. Information that should be posted is: Name, Age, Where your from, Married/Single, Number of kids, Job/School, Hobbies, Racing Experience, Sim/Mods that you would like to race in. Post any information that you want and/or feel comfortable with. This will allow current members a chance to get to know you and welcome you to the ASRL family.

On the left side of the ASRL page, you will see links that will show you schedules of the different series the ASRL offers. After registering in the forum, please feel free to sign up for series even if you think you might race in it. This is done by notifying the Series director prior to the next race in that series forum section.

During your membership you will not be able to race a number registered by another member. To view and register numbers go to the “Registered Numbers” page from the main site.  Numbers are registered by making a donation to the league to assist with server/hosting fees. This can be done by clicking the “donate” button on the left side of the page.

You will enjoy your racing experience at ASRL. Our overall main objective is for everyone to “Have Fun”. Once again, Welcome Aboard!
