Team Speak Notes

We have switched over to Team Speak for our voice communications during the races.  We are running on the ASRL's new server (new early 2007).  The info you need to get Team Speak and get plugged in is as follows:

Download version TeamSpeak 2 Client (RC2) 2.0.32.60

Follow these instructions to connect

Open the menu 'Connection' and press 'Connect'.
Make sure “Local Address book” tab is selected, then right click on “Servers” click on “Add” and then select a name for the server like “ASRL”.   Highlight the server name,  “ASRL” and fill in the blanks provided, as follows:

Label:= Should already read the name you entered

Server Address:= 64.34.170.162:8768

Nickname:= your name - either first initial and last name or first name and last name i.e. "John Smith"

Click the Anonymous button

Server Password:= Get from DeBee or the ASRL forums.

Check the auto reconnect button

Click on the “Connect” button and you should connect to the ASRL’s Team Speak Server. 

You will select the "rFactor Rewards" channel for our practices and races.  Server is on 24/7 feel free to join at any time.

Registration is no longer required!

                                  ASRL Team Speak rules:

1. Be extremely careful about not using obscene language. Younger ears may be within hearing distance.

2. Be aware of the channel you are in.

3. Don’t Race in the public chat channels.

4. Don’t chat in public “Racing Only” channels.

5. Don’t enter a Teams Racing Only channel without permission.

6. When you see a red radio button next to player's names in Meeting or Private Meeting rooms, it indicates that under no circumstances are you to join in that room for any reason, and certainly not to just listen in.

7. SA rights are by appointment only at the discretion of ScottG, Dave Holzwarth.

8. ASRL Members are not allowed to edit any information on the ASRL TS server; if they do their SA rights may be removed.

9. As a player with SA rights you have the ability to drag a player from one room to another. Before you do this ask for that player's permission.
